How We Help

Specialized Bodywork

Focused hands-on muscle work using traction and manipulation of soft tissue, and soft tissue techniques to support movement, alignment, and all over body function.

Instead of focusing on joints or structure into position, we work through the muscles and connective tissue that influence them. This allows the body to move more naturally and comfortably.

Applied Kinesiology

Applied kinesiology uses muscle testing as a tool to help identify areas of imbalance within the body.

By observing how muscles respond, we can go gather information about structural balance, movement patterns, and areas that may need additional support.

This helps guide the sessions and allows us to tailor our work to the individual rather than using a “one-size-fits-all” approach.

Reflexology

Reflexology uses a specific pressure in specific places to support overall balance and support.

Because the body functions as an interconnected system, reflexology is incorporated into every session to help support relations, proper flow, circulation and overall body function. We use little foot reflexology but key more on all over body reference points as well.

Cranial and TMJ Support

Tension within the jaw, head, neck, sinus and facial muscles can affect comfort, movement and everyday activities.

Our cranial and TMJ work may include gentle external techniques as well as buccal (inside mouth) work when appropriate to help relieve tension, headaches, vertigo (dizziness), jaw problems, and much more by improving mobility of the surrounding tissues.

Joint and Soft Tissue Support

Healthy movement depends on more than the joint itself.

We work with the muscles, fascia, ligaments, and soft tissue surrounding the joints and skeletal to help improve movement and alignments, reducing restriction and supporting proper functions.

Muscle Traction and Alignment Support

Our bodies seek natural balance naturally.

Through focused muscle work and traction techniques, we help support proper movement patterns and alignment without relying solely on forceful adjustments. Our techniques are very mild using the muscles to pull the rest of the body into alignment without jarring or forcing.

KT Taping

Kinesiology taping may be used when additional support,  inflammation reduction and better circulation is needed.

The tape helps provide feedback to muscles and joints, encouraging proper movement patterns, and supports the work performed by reducing inflammation, increasing circulation after the session that was given.

Ion Foot Spa

The ion foot spa is a relaxing wellness service that many clients choose to incorporate into the overall wellness routine.

This service is often used as a time for relaxing and detoxing. It compliments the other services we offer in our clinic.

The ion foot spa involves soaking your feet in a warm water bath while a gentle ionizing array operates in the water. Clients often find the session relaxing and enjoyable as they use it to detox the body from environmental, physical, and emotional stresses.

Infrared Sauna with Chromotherapy

Our Signature Series Infrared Sauna offers a relaxing wellness experience designed to support rest, recovery, and overall well-being. This is a dry sauna.

Unlike traditional saunas that heat the air around you, infrared heat is designed to warm the body directly, creating a comfortable environment that many clients find relaxing and rejuvenating.

Our sauna features integrated chromotherapy (color light therapy) and Himalayan salt blocks, creating a calming atmosphere that encourages relaxation and provides a peaceful space to disconnect from daily stress and focus on self-care.

Many clients choose to incorporate sauna sessions into their wellness routine to:

Promote relaxation and stress reduction

Support post-exercise recovery

Encourage healthy circulation

Relax tired muscles

Reduces inflammation

Reduces level of toxins in body

Create dedicated time for rest and self-care

Complement bodywork and wellness services

The combination of infrared warmth, chromotherapy lighting, and Himalayan salt creates a unique experience that many clients describe as one of the most relaxing services offered in our clinic.

Whether used on its own or combined with bodywork, herbal support, or other wellness services, our Signature Series Infrared Sauna provides a comfortable environment to support your overall wellness journey.

Longevity Ozone Sauna

Our Longevity Ozone Sauna combines warmth, relaxation, and ozone-infused steam in a private wellness experience designed to complement a healthy lifestyle. This is a wet sauna.

Many clients choose ozone sauna sessions as part of their ongoing wellness routine because they enjoy the opportunity to slow down, relax, and focus on self-care. The warm environment encourages relaxation while providing a comfortable space to unwind from the physical and mental demands of everyday life.

At Rocky Mountain Family Therapist, we view the Longevity Ozone Sauna as one piece of a comprehensive wellness approach that may also include bodywork, reflexology, movement recommendations, herbal support, and healthy lifestyle habits.

Clients often incorporate ozone sauna sessions into their wellness programs to:

Support relaxation and stress management

Promote a sense of overall well-being

Complement active lifestyles and recovery routines

Encourage healthy self-care practices

Reduces Inflammation
